Programme Specialist EMEA
Hybrid role, during probation 5 days a week in Reading, then three days a week in Reading, two days working from home
Basic 35-40k
This role is responsible for assisting account managers with normal program management functions. The programme specialist acts as a bridge between sales and operations to ensure daily activities are managed in a timely and accurate way to ensure customer satisfaction and mitigate internal conflict.
Duties may include processing bulk orders, managing distributions, managing inventory, generating quotes, providing international shipping expertise, attending customer meetings, attending supply and demand planning meetings. All functions are critical for driving growth, improving root cause/corrective action processes and operational excellence initiatives.
A key responsibility will be to assist with global and strategic implementation of methodologies to support the development of a world-class operation. This role will require the individual to help lead and or to facilitate management of the programs initiatives assigned. Assist in monitoring (qualitatively and quantitatively) and reporting on performance of implemented activities.

The Materials Planner, is responsible for end-to-end forecasting of demand as well as execution of the supply plan for a designated programme category range. This role works closely with Sales, Suppliers and Logistics to maintain a forecast, providing the most up to date and realistic S&OP plan and prepares a regular stock buy plan to ensure sufficient stock on hand to meet the forecast while controlling inventory and working capital in line with business rules. This role is responsible for the transactional management of the inbound supply from the point of purchase order to receipt into stock and ongoing maintenance and reporting for matters such as inventory obsolescence and stock shortages.
